A Friendship Begins

Over the years, I got to know Heifetz better. I would often go to his concerts, and I would sometimes have the opportunity to talk to him after the performances. He was always willing to share his thoughts on music and violin playing.

I learned a great deal from Heifetz. He taught me the importance of hard work and dedication. He also taught me the value of striving for perfection. Heifetz was a perfectionist, and he never settled for anything less than his best.
