Rory Gallagher

Rory Gallagher is one of the most iconic Irish rock guitarists of all time. He was born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, in 1948, and began playing guitar at the age of nine. By the time he was a teenager, he was playing in local bands, and in 1966 he formed the band Taste with bassist Eric Bell and drummer John Wilson. Taste released three albums and toured extensively before disbanding in 1970. Gallagher went on to release a successful solo career, releasing 11 studio albums and touring the world. He died in 1995 at the age of 47 from liver failure.

Thin Lizzy

Thin Lizzy is one of the most successful Irish rock bands of all time. The band was formed in Dublin in 1969 by bassist Phil Lynott, guitarist Eric Bell, and drummer Brian Downey. Thin Lizzy released 11 studio albums and toured extensively throughout the 1970s and 1980s. The band's most successful songs include "The Boys Are Back In Town," "Jailbreak," and "Whiskey In The Jar." Thin Lizzy disbanded in 1983, but they have since reunited for several tours and live albums.

The Undertones are an Irish punk rock band that formed in Derry in 1975. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Feargal Sharkey, guitarist John O'Neill, bassist Michael Bradley, drummer Billy Doherty, and keyboardist Damian O'Neill.
